Moment in Beijing—Longfu Temple

Once home to reverant monks, the 600-year-old Longfu Temple has over the centuries developed a reputation for its colorful temple fairs. Though active use of the temple ended over a century ago, since that time it's been a popular destination for shops, restaurants and street snacks. Its most recent incarantion is a newly refurbished multi-use area now home to one of Beijing's premier modern art museums, M-Woods, and also home to a number of hipster cafes, bars and restaurants.
