The first snows fallen in Beijing

The first snows have officially fallen in Beijing and we can’t imagine a better place to experience the majestic winter wonderland than in Gubei Water Town, a complex of five charming villages that have been restored to their authentic, ancient grandeur. Flanked on one side by the Simatai Great Wall, and with tributaries and rivers from the Mandarin Duck Lake Reservoir curving throughout the town, it’s the perfect scene in which to welcome the winter season.
